If you feel like having a drink, you should try to have a beer first since the stomach can easily digest it. Remember that drinking alcohol can cause dehydration. Because practically all types of alcohol drinks are diuretic, the body is prone to dehydration such that it is advisable to drink several glasses of water in order to replenish the amount of water that was lost because of frequent urination. There is no better way than drinking plenty of water to avoid getting dehydrated. You'd probably promise yourself to never drink liquor again, if only to avoid the hangover. However, there will still be occasions that you won't be able to control yourself from drinking too much alcohol.
